HOW TO GET TO XCARET?

Xcaret park is located in Playa del Carmen, on Chetumal - Puerto Juarez Federal Highway km 282, in the state of Quintana Roo.

If you are in Cancun

Distance: 45 miles (74 km) south of Cancun International Airport, toward Tulum.

Travel time: About 1 hour.

If you are in Playa del Carmen

Distance: 4 miles (6 km) from Playa del Carmen toward Tulum.

Travel time: 15 minutes approximately.

If you are in Tulum

Distance: 35 miles (57 km) north, toward Playa del Carmen.

Travel time: 45 minutes approximately.

Add round-trip transportation service at the time of purchase. Travel safely and comfortably from your hotel or from a meeting point of your choice.
During your purchase, you will be presented with three scenarios according to your way of traveling:
  • My hotel is on the list: select your hotel and that’s it.
  • My hotel is not on the list: choose one of the meeting points and Grupo Xcaret's official transportation will pick you up.
  • I'm not staying at a hotel: no matter where you are staying, you can choose from several meeting points and Grupo Xcaret's official transportation will pick you up.
According to your location, follow the detailed directions of the route map. The park provides free parking.
From Cancun: the price of a one-way ride is between $80 and $100 USD.
From Playa del Carmen: the price of a one-way ride is $15 USD, approximately.
There are departures from Cancun bus station (Uxmal Avenue) or from Playa del Carmen main bus station (5th Avenue) to the park.
You will also find other buses and public transportation that will drop you off at the special entrance on the side of the road. Just walk a few meters to the place from where the folkloric bus 'Despeinado' will take you to the park entrance for free (every half an hour).
